Bike and Motorcycle Parking at the 2008 Folsom Street Fair
For the fourth year in a row,
Folsom Street Events has joined forces with
the SF Bike Coalition to provide:
Bike checking is provided free courtesy of the SF Bike Coalition. Bag and Coat check is available for $5.00 per item. Proceeds from the coat check benefit both the SF Bike Coalition as well as the Folsom Street Fair beneficiaries. Bike check will be on 9th Street, in a new location, between Sheridan and Harrison. Please enter from Harrison. Don't lug your warm afternoon clothing around all day. Take it off! Take it all off! Check it safely with the SF Bike coalition. Motorcycle parking will be located on 8th Street at Harrison
in front of Mr. S Leather with special motorcycle only entry
at the corner of 8th Street and Harrison all day.
The SF Dykes on Bikes will manage a helmet check for donations from 11am to 5pm. After 5pm helmets may be picked up at Mr.S Leather until they close at 8pm. Thanks to the Dykes on Bikes for providing:
Location Details
Bike parking is located on 9th Street between Folsom and Harrison. Please walk your bike in at the 9th Street and Harrison gate. Please avoid bringing your bikes in via any of the other gates due to the crowding that we experience every year.
Motorcycle Parking and Helmet Check are located on 8th Street just off
Harrison. The parking area is inside the barricaded perimeter of the
fair but outside the entrance gates. Motorcycles are not allowed on
to the fairgrounds.
