Thanks to the over 500 volunteers, associates, board members, sponsors and staff
the 2008 Folsom Street Fair was a huge success by every measure.
We showcased a roster of world-renowned
alternative rock acts along side up-and-coming talent from far and wide.
We presented "Venus' Playground", Folsom Women's Area
for its second year. We hosted huge
assorment of exhibitors.
Our dance event, Magnitude, sold out again.
All together in support of our 2008 beneficiaries.
In 2009 the world's largest leather event, the Folsom Street Fairtm,
will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We hope to see the fairgrounds
filled with people
in their most outrageous leather/rubber/fetish attire enjoying the worlds
largest and best loved Leather fair.
Next year, as always, it will be located in San Francisco's South
of Market district on Folsom Street between 7th and 12th Streets.

Donations at the gates and proceeds from beverage purchases will benefit
a new roster of non-profit charities from the San Francisco area and beyond.
Remember, the Folsom Street Fair
tm is
always
scheduled for the last Sunday in September.

"More cock than a chicken fight! More ass than a donkey show! Break out those chaps and grab some lube when the sprawling granddaddy of leather events hits in September". -
SF Bay Guardian - July 30, 2008
Best of the Bay 2007 - Readers' Poll: Best Street Fair --
"A gathering of leather, rubber, latex, and steel - elsewhere this might sound like an upholsterers' convention, but San Franciscans are just a wee bit more creative with their hardware. Trussed, gagged, or branded, the Folsom Street Fair invites you to think outside the sex box. Unless confinement is your thing, of course". -
SF Bay Guardian
Best of the Bay 2006 - Readers' Poll: Best Street Fair --
"If you have the burning desire to strut your stuff in those ass-out pants your cousin bought you last Christmas, but you don't want to call too much attention to yourself, just wait for the Folsom Street Fair. The other 399,000 bondage and leather fans will make you feel right at home". -
SF Bay Guardian
Best of the Bay 2005 - Readers' Poll: Best Street Fair --
"How often do you get to break out the fetish gear and
parade down the street? (Actually, in San Francisco the
answer turns out to be "quite often"). The Bay Area's
best street party, the Folsom Street Fair brings out
beautiful freaks of all stripes to dance, drink, eat,
and generally get down under the SoMa sun.
Coincidentally, it's also the culmination of San Francisco
Leather Pride Week. Go figure. Sept. 25, 2005". -

Throw on your leather hotpants and join 300,000 other lookers in a fetish frenzy.
"Please Sir, May I Have Another? This sexy S&M street-bacchanal celebrates
a leather-phile culture that is as big on community service as it is on naughty
fun. Keep in mind that this is no small community; the fair is officially listed
as the third largest in California (behind the Rose Bowl and San Francisco Pride).
Several hundred thousand kinky beasts come out annually to put the fete back
in fetish, and though you'll see more tourists with cameras than trussed-up
hussies, it's all good, charitable fun. Beneficiaries of the fair include Project
Inform, the Stop AIDS Project, Project Open Hand, and New Leaf."
